My art garment practice was focused over a period of 7 years from 1986 - 1993 (after spending 13 years in the Fashion industry as a designer/patternmaker). During my art garment years I exhibited extensively in Australia as well as overseas, won awards, was included in many publications, while 2 pieces were collected by Australian regional galleries.

I began studying as a graphic designer only after the onset of the digital age - learning the digital tools just as they moved from the Mac-only environment to PC. After working for a magazine as well as freelancing, I now mix graphic design with the other aspects of my life allowing them to feed my design and my design to feed my art.
