This work was included as one of 33 works in the 2010 Yering Station Sculpture Exhibition and Awards.
…a funnel to another frame of mind,
a new dimension of time and space
– posing a question of perspective and courage
The work was installed on site from a 'flat pack' metal frame and reels of plastic thread. Once the frame was assembled and stacked in place the threading process begun and continued over the next day and a half.
The work was installed for 2 months and it was interesting to note that the red thread faded to a terra cotta over this period.
